How clients see invoices
A clean, trustworthy public page — no login, no friction, branded to your business.
The public invoice page
Every invoice has a unique URL: invoicely.live/invoice/{token}/. When your client clicks the link in their email, they see:
- Header with your logo and business name
- Invoice number and status badge
- Total amount in big, bold type
- "Pay Now" button (if Stripe is connected)
- Line items in a clean table
- Subtotal, tax, total breakdown
- Bank details (if not paying by Stripe)
- Note from you (if added)
- "Download PDF" button
What clients can do
- View the invoice in their browser (no signup needed)
- Download as PDF
- Pay with credit card via Stripe (if connected)
- Copy the public link to share with their accountant
What clients can't do
- Edit the invoice
- See your other clients
- Access your dashboard
Security
The token in the URL is a 48-character random hex string — impossible to guess. Even if someone got one client's link, they couldn't access another invoice.
