Your first invoice

Create a professional, branded PDF invoice in 60 seconds.

Step-by-step

1

Click "+ New Invoice"

From the Dashboard or the Invoices page sidebar.

2

Pick or create a customer

If you already added the client to your customer list, just select them from the dropdown. Otherwise click + New Customer to add them on the fly.

3

Set the invoice number, date, and due date

The invoice number auto-fills based on your numbering format (e.g. INV-001). The date defaults to today. Due date defaults to 14 days from issue — change to match your terms.

4

Add line items

For each product or service, fill in description, quantity, unit price, and tax % if applicable. Totals calculate automatically.

5

Add notes (optional)

Three tabs at the bottom: Client Note (visible on invoice — payment instructions, thank-you), Private Note (only you see), Footer (legal text or terms).

6

Preview & save

Click 👁 Preview PDF to see what the client will see. If it looks right, click Save Draft to save without sending, or Save & Send Email → to email it now.
