Recommended setup
- Template: Bold or Classic
- Numbering:
INV-{SEQ}— simple, no year/month needed - Catalog: Save your hourly rates by tier (Standard / Emergency / Weekend), travel callout fees, common materials
- Default payment terms: Due on receipt — for trades, paid the day of the job is normal
- Stripe: Highly recommended — clients can pay on the spot from their phone
On-site invoicing
Invoicely is fully mobile-responsive. Job done? Open Invoicely on your phone, create the invoice, click Save & Send Email. Client receives it before you've even left.
Materials + labor
Use line items: one for labor (hours × rate), one for each material category (with markup if applicable).
